R.I.P. Musme’s Computer

“ Could I be anymore unlucky?” This seemed like an apt title, but a bit too long. LOL. OK, so yes, my computer is dead. Crashed. Gone. Screwed. No, I’m the screwed one! Why, God, why must I always suffer computer fatalities? I swear, MACs seem are starting to look sexier and sexier each day. However, I doubt I’ll still get one.

I’m in dire need of a laptop, but right now can’t take the luxury to get one. Boooo! Maybe once I get back from Mexico in August, I’ll get myself a laptop. Just hopefully… maybe… the laptop won’t crash like every other computer I’ve had ¬¬ One thing I really don’t like–all computers are now Windows Vista. Like if that’s any better than XP. OK, so I did go to Denver, I was on the verge (like always) of blogging, and I was designing a new look, when my shitty computer died. So now, I don’t know when I’ll get it fixed because I can’t find the set-up CD that comes with it. Great. All I could find was the update-your-computer-system-to-Vista CD–I think NOT!

Well, I hope you guys have a better week than I’m having at the moment. I’ll see if in the next 30minutes I have left of time in this library computer I can return the three wonderful comments I got. LOL… Take care guys!

Sorry to hear your computer died, they always break at the worst moments. I hope you had a great time in Denver.

BTEC stands for Business & Technology Education Council, I had to look it up on wikipedia lol.

Aww! I’m sorry to hear about your computer!! =( LOL, I will NEVER get a Mac. LOL.

Yeah, I know what you mean about not being able to get a laptop… Good luck with getting one in August! Yep, I know EXACTLY what you mean about Vista. That’s why I’ve installed XP over Vista. Haha.

Good luck with getting your computer fixed, although you don’t know when you’ll be able to!

Aw i’m so sorry to hear about your computer. My dad has a MAC and he really loves it. He runs Windows XP on it but you need to pay for the software, Parallels, where it does it for ya and all. It’s kinda expensive tho, like $80 . Good luck on your search for a crash free system :)

Hey you were right about the themes, wow it’s way easier than I thought it would be. As you can see I found myself a snazzy pre-made as well. I’ve been surfing for plug-ins and stuff. You have any good/ useful plug-ins to suggest? OH and have you activated Askmet(?)? because we need some key code and I was wondering if Chelsea is the one that has it bc I didn’t set up the MySQL or the wordpress.

HEY and do you know if I could move my wordpress directory? or is it too late?

I guess i’ll have to send chelsea an email as well :).

Heya, Sorry to hear about your computer dying! I heard Microsoft were gonna stop selling XP software - and that they’re trying to slowly move everyone onto Vista - once you’ve got Vista, you can choose the option to “downgrade” to XP. Quite annoying for Windows users….

I’ve got a Macbook and I CANNOT recommend it enough! It’s just so stable and you don’t have to deal with those ratty spyware/adware/viruses you get with Windows. I used to use Windows, it takes a little while to get used, but in no time you’ll get used to it and realise - “Why did I waste my time using that Windows crap?” LOL.

Sorry to hear about your computer. I had a problem once with my laptop where a trojan crashed it. I was so upset that I wanted to punch something, lol. Luckily my dad helped me fix it.

I haven’t been reading up lately on laptops, but I definitely do recommend getting one! They are so useful for university/college and travel. :)

My old computer used to die way too much, I got a new one and it has not died yet (Windows XP) if that makes any difference. Maybe your computer is just old and on it’s last leg. Sadly a computers lifespan is sorter than a humans.

My boyfriend has a mac laptop and although it does not crash, it is really frustrating for me to use since I am a windows girl.

I recently bought a Mac with some of the money I made off the ads on my blog. I love it… My PCs (desktop and laptop) are collecting dust somewhere from disuse, even though they’re still relatively new, hehe.
